|Description:||The HUMINT Analyst provides the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) or United States Force-Afghanistan (USFOR-A) with intelligence operations support. This role shall support ISAF/USFOR-A by aiding in the coordination, planning and execution of intelligence collection operations, exploitation and analytic support in coordination with other entities and agencies in the Combined Joint Operating Area – Afghanistan (CJOA-A). |

|Duties:||•Supports a CI/HUMINT or intelligence analytical team of military and/or DoD civilian analysts in support of CJ2X and/or CJ2 analytical requirements.|
•Provides analysis of IIRs and HRs, provides feedback and IIR and HR evaluations, source directed requirements (SDRs), time sensitive collection requirements (TSCRs), ad-hoc collection requirements (AHCR)s, and supports source validation.
•Conducts analysis of source reliability and report credibility, and communicates that analysis to the collector in support of the source validation process.
•Provides HUMINT analysis and assessments in support of HUMINT source validation.
•Responsible for researching, developing and presenting CI/HUMINT and all-source intelligence products at the tactical, operational and strategic level as part of an overall analytical team.
•Responsible for intelligence analysis related to counterterrorism (CT), HUMINT, Afghanistan and South West Asia regional issues, political/military analysis and support to targeting.
•May be required to travel outside Afghanistan within the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
|Qualifications:||•Active TS/SCI or active within last 2 years required.|
•U.S. Citizenship Required.
•Must pass DoD CRC requirements for deployment to Department of State (DoS) declared Contingency or Combat Zones.
•Must adhere to standards of conduct as established by the operational or unit commander to include General Order #1.
•Requires former MOS 18F, 180A, 35L/M, 351L/M, 35D/35E, 1N, 35F, 350F, 18F, 35A, 34A or equivalent.
•Requires a minimum of 4 years analytical experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies required, with HUMINT experience preferred.
•Requires Associate's Degree with Bachelor's Degree preferred.
•Experience in either, CT, South West Asia regional issues and HUMINT, CI or military analysis desired.
•Must be proficient in utilizing basic computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development.
•Strong research and writing skills required.
•Must be capable of effectively operating as a member of a strategic level analytical team in the accomplishment of assessments of sources and their reporting through the corroboration of source reporting, analytic feedback, quality assurance and the development of HUMINT and intelligence products and assessments.
•Working knowledge of the Afghan culture required.
•Knowledge of the Dari or Pashto language a plus.
•Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.
•Good analytical and problem solving skills.
•Ability to multi-task.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
