To facilitate further expansion, we are now recruiting for a Business Development Manager - Survey located at our Murfreesboro, TN and Birmingham, AL offices.
SUMMARY:
The Business Development Manager - Survey will be responsible for successfully developing new business and delivering exceptional surveying services at the local, state, and federal government level.

| Duties: | Develop and promote our survey services:
Develop a strategic plan for acquiring new survey business at the local, state, and federal level;
Leverage current business relationships and cultivate new contacts through targeted networking;
Identify and aggressively pursue potential projects in the assigned territory;
Properly price potential contracts to achieve acceptable profit margin;
Prepare and conduct formal presentations of Wiser Companys surveying services;
Develop and maintain client confidence in our staff and operations by maintaining a high level of professionalism, transparency, accountability, and performance;
Maintain excellent written and verbal communications and rapport with customers;
Establish and maximize overall customer satisfaction.
Oversee delivery of surveying services:
Effectively lead, organize, assign, motivate, and evaluate employees;
Maintain excellent written and verbal communications and rapport with survey staff;
Provide boundary and topographic surveys, as well as construction staking;
Prepare clear, concise and complete reports;
Ensure proper survey methods are used by all crew members;
Review all data to ensure accuracy;
Investigate and provide solutions to field survey problems.

Education/Experience:
Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) designation;
At least 10 years of broad surveying experience;
Business development experience preferred.
