| Duties: | •Compiling geographic feature or terrain data from orthophotographic imagery sources following detailed feature extraction guidelines.
•Performing topology checks and other data quality controls including but not limited to attribution checks, and managing associated documents.
•Cleaning geographic data topology errors and omissions.
•Documenting techniques for editing and manipulating geographic data.
•Performing digital feature extraction from multiple data sources.
•Attribute digital data accurately.
•Suggest and implement improved work methods.
•Understand and follow complex project specific guidance.
•Independently use technical resource documents and/or extraction guides.

| Qualifications: | •Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Earth Science, Computer Science or related field, with a practical GIS background (practical experience in GIS field may substitute for degree requirements).
•0-2 years experience with geospatial data collection, analysis, and/or conversion with ESRI products (ArcMap, ArcToolBox, ArcInfo, etc). Preference will be given to candidates with experience in ArcSDE.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work well with a diverse team of people.
•Must be able to multi-task and troubleshoot for technical solutions.
•Must be punctual to all work schedules and perform job assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
•Must be able to adjust to unexpected changes in work demand to meet deadlines.
•Ability to communicate and troubleshoot issues to supervisor.
•Ability to take on tasks with minimal supervision.
•US citizenship required.
•Must pass a stereo vision test.
