Description:The Executive Secretary is expected to offer a combination of proven experience and expertise to independently support those NGA offices at the Directorate, Group or Office organizational level having Senior Executive Service, Defense Intelligence Senior Leaders andor Flag Officer.

Duties:•Expected to offer a combination of proven experience and expertise to independently support those NGA offices at the Directorate, Group or Office organizational level having Senior Executive Service, Defense Intelligence Senior Leaders and\\or Flag Officer.
•Interprets and adapts guidelines with minimal assistance, including unwritten policies, precedents and practices that are not always completely applicable to a changing situation.
•Uses strong working knowledge of office information technology (IT) equipment (e.g., copiers, scanners, facsimile machines, computer workstations, phones, teleconference/video teleconference equipment) with the ability to independently operate such equipment in completing administrative tasks.
•Uses strong working knowledge of MS Office software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook: Mail, Calendar, and File Functions) with the ability to independently use these applications to efficiently complete office administrative tasks.
•Has strong typing skills with the ability to type at a minimum of 45 words per minute (wpm).
•Possesses working knowledge of NGAs administrative processes and business rhythms.
•Has knowledge of Military and administrative support requirements at the Flag Officers as an executive officer or staff officer.
Qualifications:•Proficient working knowledge of the following corporate applications: PeopleSoft, Defense Travel System (DTS) with knowledge of the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) ,NCERTS and SharePoint.
•Ability to proficiently write in short-hand.
•Administratively supports the planning, coordination and execution of visits, events, luncheons, and other office functions as required.
•Possesses a working knowledge of the NGA internal coordination and approval processes.
•Experienced in setting up and maintaining office-filing systems (hardcopy and softcopy) using specified format and structure.
•Has strong typing skills with the ability to type at a minimum of 45 words per minute (wpm).
•Possesses working knowledge of NGAs administrative processes and business rhythms.
•Has knowledge of Military and administrative support requirements at the Flag Officers as an executive officer or staff officer.
•Bachelors Degree in General Business Administration preferred with a minimum 8 years of secretary experience and 2 years experience in supporting senior level personal in the grades of SES/DSL or at the Flag Officer level. An Associates Degree or High School Diploma may be accepted with a higher work equivalency.
•Understanding of and prior experience in applying office protocol and staffing requirements at the senior leadership level.
•Mandatory TS/SCI Clearance.
